ATTICA — Josh Crall scored 23 points and Wynford snapped its five-game losing streak with a 55-47 victory at Seneca East on Thursday night. The Royals (2-8, 2-5 Northern 10 Athletic Conference) took a 17-15 lead after one quarter and took control in the second quarter, extending their lead to 33-20.

Vikings pull away from Falcons

LEIPSIC — The Leipsic girls basketball team led by 11 points at halftime and 16 at the end of the third quarter on the way to a 43-25 victory over Riverdale on Thursday at Leipsic High School. The Falcons (6-8, 1-5 Blanchard Valley Conference) connected on 6 of 25 shots from inside the 3-point line and 2 of 8 shots from behind the 3-point line.

Carey rolls to 2nd straight win

CAREY — Carey coasted past Bucyrus 57-29 for its second straight victory in Northern 10 Athletic Conference girls basketball play Tuesday night. Hannah Lonsway scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the Blue Devils (3-9, 3-5 N10). Avarie Stewart added 10 points.
