ODOT updates Wyandot County project schedule The Ohio Department of Transportation recently released an updated highway construction schedule for projects in Wyandot County. Work is dependent upon weather conditions. U.S. 23 over Tymochtee Creek, just north of TH 103, will be restricted to one lane in each direction for a bridge rehabilitation project. The project also includes resurfacing of U.S. 23 between CH 97 and the U.S. 30 interchange, north of Upper Sandusky, which is expected to begin in early June. Lane restrictions are possible within the entire work zone for work done in preparation for resurfacing. Read More

Safety blotter: May 16, 2019 A caller reported a suspicious person walking outside their apartment on the 300 block of Highland Parkway the early morning of May 15. The responding officer was unable to locate the individual. A caller reported a reckless driver stopped at Love’s Travel Mart the early morning of May 15. The responding officer made contact with the driver, who said they were driving from Chicago to New York and advised they needed some rest. Read More
