Holman, Rogers 2nd, 3rd in HOJGA tourney Posted on June 28, 2025 0 KENTON — Upper Sandusky’s Toby Holman and Wynford’s Clay Rogers finished second and third in the boys 13-15 division of the Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association tournament Thursday at Veterans Memorial Golf Course in Kenton. Colonel Crawford’s Bryant Berry took first place by shooting a 75. Holman was runner-up with a 79 that included a 36 on the back nine, while Rogers shot 40 on both nine holes to finish with an 80. The Royals’ Casey Rogers tied for 17th in the same division with a round of 101. In the boys 16-18 division, the Rams’ Arden Stansbery was 16th with a 92, while Reece Ward finished one spot behind with a 94. Delaware Hayes’ Parker Staffanni was the winner in a playoff with Olentangy’s Kaden Ottley after both players shot 71s. Pleasant’s Dylan Moore was third with a 73. Upper Sandusky’s Addison Niederkohr and Jillian Stansberry tied for seventh place in the girls 13-18 division, shooting rounds of 104. Northmor’s Katelyn Miley won first place with a 78, two strokes better than Colonel Crawford’s Maddie Gray with an 80. Pleasant’s Maddie Murphy was third with a round of 83. In the 12-and-younger division, Marysville’s Bryce Bollenbaugh took first place by shooting a nine-hole 50, one stroke better than Pleasant’s Cohen Sisler with a 51. Marysville’s Tyler Daniel was third with a 55. The next HOJGA tournament is Monday at Blues Creek in Marysville.
