BUCYRUS — Even without its top golfer, the Upper Sandusky boys team won its eighth consecutive match with a 169-179 victory over Ridgedale on Tuesday at New Winchester Golf Course. The Rams (8-0, 3-0 Northern 10 Athletic Conference) were led by Trevor Clifford, who shot a 40, and Owen Knapp, who finished with an overall score of 42.

BUCYRUS — Wynford improved to 5-0 in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference and upped its overall record to 9-2 by defeating Upper Sandusky and Willard in a girls golf match Tuesday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus. The Royals topped the Crimson Flashes, 202-211, with the Rams finishing at 246.

MANSFIELD — Julia Rizzo scored a first-half goal on a direct kick, and that stood for Mansfield St. Peter’s to take a 1-0 victory against Upper Sandusky in a nonconference girls soccer match Tuesday. Rizzo’s goal came less than 12 minutes into the match, which did not see another goal over the final 58-plus minutes.

GALION — Wynford had consistent scores throughout the lineup in taking a 184-216 victory against Colonel Crawford in Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys golf play Tuesday at Valley View Golf Course. Logen Sand, Kayleb Keaton and Mitch Zaebst all shared medalist honors with 45s.

NEW WASHINGTON — Lexi Evak had 14 kills to lead Buckeye Central to a 25-10, 25-12, 25-20 victory against Wynford to open Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball play Tuesday night. Allison Weithman passed out 28 assists and had nine digs and two aces, while Kendra Ackerman had nine digs and four kills.

ATTICA — With all of the sets tight, Seneca East was able to knock off Carey in four, 25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21, in Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball action Tuesday night. McKenzie Row led the Blue Devils (0-1, 0-1 N10) in their opener with 11 kills, 16 digs and three aces. Bailey Tanner added seven kills.

Upper Sandusky played the two-time defending Northern 10 Athletic Conference champion Buckeye Central close but was edged 194-202 in an N10 girls golf match Monday at Lincoln Hills Golf Club.

BUCYRUS — The Wynford volleyball team bounced back from a loss Saturday by beating Crestline, 25-19, 25-15, 25-15, in a nonconference match Monday at Wynford.

NEW WASHINGTON — With All-Ohioan Brett Montgomery out of the lineup, the rest of the Upper Sandusky boys golf team stepped up to deliver a strong performance, matching the team’s season-best score in a 167-184 victory against Buckeye Central on Monday at Cranberry Hills Golf Course. Schiefer finished the day with five pars for a season-best score for the Royals (7-2, 4-0 N10).
