Marquart shuts out Mohawk SYCAMORE — Cole Sowers doubled in a run in the first at-bat of the day Friday as Upper Sandusky won 3-0 in the completion of a suspended game against Mohawk at Mohawk. The game was called last week because of rain in the top of the second inning with one out and Brenyn Marquart at first base after he singled. He scored right away Friday on Sowers’ double. Falcons girls 6th, boys 8th FINDLAY — Riverdale’s girls were sixth and the boys tied for eighth in the Blanchard Valley Conference Meet on Friday at Liberty-Benton. Riverdale’s girls finished with 57.5 points, while the boys scored 20. The host Eagles won both titles, with the girls scoring 147 points and the boys scoring 137.5 points. Warriors extend win streak to 6 with sweep of Rockets SYCAMORE — Mohawk won the 750th game in program history as it swept Ridgedale in a double header 10-3 and 18-0 in Northern 10 Athletic Conference softball play Friday in Sycamore. The Rockets (12-10, 4-10) played close with the Warriors (17-9, 9-7 N10) into the fourth inning of the first game, but it was all Mohawk after that.
