Season passes on sale at Wynford

BUCYRUS — The Wynford Athletic Department is selling a variety of season ticket options for 2016-17. The family pass admits all members of the purchaser’s immediate family to all home sporting events, both high school and junior high, for $375.

Riverdale Lions scramble winners

The team of Mark Ruggles, Steve Ruggles, Andre Miller and Austin Miller won the 16-team, 64-player Riverdale Community Lions Golf Scramble Saturday at Lincoln Hills Golf Club by finishing with a 59. Dunlap 4th in HOJGA finale

The Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association tournament schedule wrapped up Tuesday with the Chad A. Wheeler Memorial Tournament at Lincoln Hills Golf Club. Mohawk’s Billy Dunlap finished in fourth place wtih an 86 in the tournament that features winners and runners-up from the tour’s previous seven tournaments.

Kirby 5K slated

KIRBY — The Kilometers in Kirby 5K Run and Walk is 9 a.m. Saturday with registration beginning at 8 a.m. at St. Mary’s Center. Pre-registration includes a shirt and is $20.

Mohawk set for parent meeting

SYCAMORE — Mohawk High School will host its fall sports parent meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 4 in the Performing Arts Center. The general meeting will be followed by individual sport meetings.

Drive, Chip and Putt winner

Wynford’s Jacob Beaschler, of rural Nevada, took first place in the Drive, Chip and Putt local qualifier last week at The Golf Depot in Gahanna. Beaschler finished first in chipping and putting.

Volleyball camp

Upper Sandusky volleyball camp was held last week with 35 campers in two sessions: girls entering sixth through eighth grades (left) and girls entering third through fifth grades.
