DOLA — Riverdale’s track and field girls were winners at the Hardin-Northern Invitational on Saturday, and the Falcons boys were second.

BUCYRUS — Both Upper Sandusky’s doubles teams were champions, but the Rams lost a tiebreaker for first place to River Valley in the Jim Grandy Invitational on Saturday at Bucyrus.

VAN BUREN — Dani Berardinelli-Clark fired a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts to lead Carey to a 2-0 victory against Van Buren before the Blue Devils were edged, 3-2, in the second game in a doubleheader Saturday. Berardinelli-Clark dominated the Black Knights in the first game, giving up just one walk.

BASCOM — Upper Sandusky softball pushed its winning streak to 14 games with 13-3 and 5-2 victories at Hopewell-Loudon on Saturday. The Rams (15-3) led 6-0 when they scored seven times in the sixth inning of the opener to run away with a win.

BASCOM — Upper Sandusky found plenty of offense in a baseball doubleheader sweep of Hopewell-Loudon, 16-2 and 10-5, on Saturday. The Rams (12-7) scored in all but one inning in the first game and used a six-run fourth inning to blow things open in the second game.

NORWALK — Mohawk and Norwalk St. Paul split a pair of one-run non-conference baseball games Saturday, with the Warriors winning the opener, 3-2, and the Flyers taking the second game, 6-5.

ARCADIA — Kayla Reis-Kelly and Hannah Jordan both him home runs as Mohawk coasted to a 15-5 victory against Arcadia in a non-conference game Saturday.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale defeated Elgin, 1-0, and lost to River Valley, 8-2, in non-conference home softball action Saturday.

SHELBY — Dillon Thornsberry drove in seven runs to lead Shelby to a doubleheader sweep of Riverdale baseball, 10-0 and 9-2, on Saturday. Thornsberry had a triple and drove in four runs in the opener, and he had two hits and three RBIs in the second game.

MANSFIELD — Mansfield Christian scored eight times in the third inning and then held off Wynford, 16-12, in a non-league softball game Saturday.
