Fahle gets 100th win

MORRAL — Upper Sandusky coach Brent Fahle picked up his 100th career win Saturday at Ridgedale. Abigail Fogle had 26 points in the first half of a 69-41 victory. Fahle has coached six seasons at Upper Sandusky. Prior to that, he was the head coach at Galion for one season.

Carey uses fast start to win against Mohawk

CAREY — Turnovers led to some easy points early for Carey, and the Blue Devils used a big first half to take a 50-31 victory against Mohawk on Saturday afternoon. Sydney Kin finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Sydney Ferguson scored 15 points for Carey (10-5, 8-3 Northern 10 Athletic Conference).

Calvert gets win

TIFFIN — Tiffin Calvert started fast and finished strong to defeat Riverdale, 56-41, in a non-conference boys basketball game Saturday night.

Royals pull away in 3rd quarter

BUCYRUS — Bucyrus had the Royals right where it wanted them midway through the third quarter. Then, Wynford went on a run. Jordan Creel scored six straight points and assisted a Zach Hoffman 3 in four possessions to change a 41-40 deficit in to a 49-41 lead. Jack Reed then sank a pair of free throws to make it a 10 point game, and the lead stayed in double digits through the fourth quarter.

Shade leads Bucks past Warriors

SYCAMORE — When Jacob Shade was scoring, Buckeye Central could not be stopped. Shade scored all of his 21 points in the first and fourth quarters to help the Bucks build a lead and then hold off Mohawk, 51-44, in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys basketball game Friday night.
