HEAP Winter Crisis Program ends this month

The Home Energy Assistance Program Winter Crisis Program that began in November is scheduled to end March 31. The Winter Crisis Program provides financial assistance, one time per heating season, to income-eligible households that are threatened with disconnection of their heating source, have service already disconnected, need to establish new service or transfer service, or have less than a 25 percent supply of bulk fuel.

Bucyrus library hosts books club

BUCYRUS — Members of the Mystery Book Club at the Bucyrus Public Library will gather for their monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday, in the first-floor reading room. Members will discuss “Just Killing Time: A Clock Shop Mystery” by Julianne Holmes.

WMH Foundation to award 5 scholarships

The Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation will award five $1,000 scholarships this spring to Wyandot County residents planning careers in healthcare. Scholarship applications are available at the hospital’s information desk in the lobby and are due March 15.

‘A Night at Heritage Hall’ event set for March 24-25

MARION — Marion County Historical Society will present the 11th Annual “A Night at Heritage Hall” from 7-9 p.m. March 24-25. Inspired by the movie “Night At the Museum,” guests will be night watchmen at the Heritage Hall Museum, 169 E. Church St., Marion, where they discover that all the exhibits come to life after the sun sets.
