NORTH BALTIMORE — The Riverdale girls basketball team won its second consecutive game and fourth in its last five with a 71-61 victory over North Baltimore in a Blanchard Valley Conference game on Thursday. The Falcons (8-6 4-2 BVC) connected on 16 of 44 shots from the field, 6 of 18 from 3-point range and 21 of 29 free throws.

Upper junior high teams win 3 of 4

NEW WASHINGTON — Upper Sandusky’s seventh grade boys basketball team used balanced scoring to take a 39-28 victory against Buckeye Central on Thursday. Jackson Smalley led the Rams (8-1) with 10 points, while Sam Smith had 6 points, and Levi Lamb and Keegan Iles had 5 points each.

ATTICA — With a trio of players averaging in double figures, Seneca East has been one of the top offensive teams in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference. Carey found a way to slow down the Tigers and reached the midway point in Northern 10 Athletic Conference play in a three-way tie for first place by taking a 58-41 victory on Tuesday night in Attica.
