Barbara Baker Posted on January 8, 2024 0 Barbara Jean Baker, age 72, formerly of Upper Sandusky, passed away Jan. 1, 2024, after a brief battle with brain cancer with her family by her side. She was born Feb. 28, 1951. Barb is survived by her husband of 51 years, John L. Baker; two children, William (Jenn) Baker and Patricia Nicholson; two grandsons, Cody (Kristina) and Logan Baker; granddaughter Kori Bently; and a great-granddaughter coming in April. She also is survived by a sister, Jan Young; nephew Brian Dean (Jennifer) Young; great-nephew Zachary Dean Young; and uncle Darrel Park. She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Margaret (Park) Hotelling; and brother-in-law Don Young. Barbara graduated from Upper Sandusky High School in 1969 and Marion Beauty School. She loved being with her family, her dogs, singing in her church and attending church. Family and friends are invited to visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bailey Road Christian Church, 3200 W. Bailey Road, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. The funeral service is 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow the service at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be given to Bailey Road Christian Church in Barbara’s name. (Pd.010824)
