BUCYRUS — Kaiden Blair threw a one-hit shutout to lead Wynford to a 4-0 victory against Mohawk on Wednesday in Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball play at Wynford.

The Royals (12-7, 8-4 N10) scored all of their runs in the first two innings, including three in the first and knocked the Warriors (11-5, 7-3 N10) out of first in the league standings.

After a Spencer Miller walk and Blair double to start the bottom of the first, Grant McGuire delivered a two-run double. McGuire then scored on a double-steal.

In the second inning, Miller and Blair both drew one-out walks, and after both moved into scoring position on a wild pitch, Mohawk then opted to intentionally walk McGuire. Drew Johnson delivered with an RBI single up the middle.
