Falcons score 2 in 7th inning but rally comes up short in 4-3 loss to Eagles NORTH ROBINSON — The Riverdale softball team’s seventh-inning rally came up short as the Falcons fell 4-3 to Colonel Crawford in a non conference softball game Thursday at Colonel Crawford. The Falcons took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but the Eagles answered with two runs in the bottom of the second. Tigers take pair of 4-1 victories BUCYRUS — Seneca East took a pair of 4-1 victories against Wynford in Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball play Thursday at Wynford. The Tigers (12-7, 9-5 N10) finished off a victory in a game started Wednesday, which was suspended by rain with Seneca East leading 1-0 in the third inning. That is the number of times that Mohawk sophomore center fielder Marah Gillig has connected for a home run against the Upper Sandusky softball team. Riverdale girls 2nd at Hardin County Invite ADA — Kenton edged Riverdale’s girls for the championship in the Hardin County Invitational on Tuesday at Ada War Memorial Stadium. The Wildcats outscored the Falcons 164-159, with Ada a distant third with 104 points. The Wildcats also took the boys title, topping Hardin Northern 148-108. Ada was third over Riverdale 107-100. McLaughlin bowls 6th 300 This wasn’t the third, fourth or fifth 300 game of Allen McLaughlin’s bowling career. But it was still significant.
