N10 announces ticket prices

The Northern 10 Athletic Conference athletic ticket prices have been announced for the 2019-20 school year. For varsity contests, adult tickets will cost $6 and tickets for students in grades K-12 cost $5. For junior varsity, freshman and middle school contests, adult tickets will cost $4 and tickets for students in grades K-12 will cost $3.

HOJGA concludes season with ceremony

WALDO — The heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association honored Dennis Jesse, corporate sponsor and guest speaker, junior members and volunteers at the 33rd Year-End Awards Banquet held Thursday at Kings Mill. Jesse, in his youth, worked under Professional Ross Carley at the Marion Country Club. He graduated from Marion Pleasant High School and Ohio State University in business marketing and later began his own company, Jesse Marketing Associates LLC, in Sarasota, Florida.

Montgomery finishes in a tie for 36th place

SYLVANIA — Upper Sandusky’s Brett Montgomery finished in a tie for 36th place with an overall score of 227 (11 over par) at the American Junior Golf Association’s Dana Incorporated Junior Open from July 22-25 at Sylvania Country Club. Montgomery shot a 75 in the first round, a 79 in the second round and a 73 in the third round. He was tied with Jack Wertz of Cincinnati.
