NEW WASHINGTON — Buckeye Central topped Carey for the second time in three days with a 12-2 win in five innings Wednesday. The Bucks (8-5, 2-5 Northern 10 Athletic Conference) scored two runs in both the first and second innings before hanging six runs in the fourth.

Sydney Swavel and Upper Sandusky stayed hot with a 20-0 Rams victory in five innings against Buckeye Central on Tuesday. Swavel homered for the second game in a row, though it was much less dramatic than her 10th-inning blast Monday that helped the Rams top Bucyrus.

Cody Gabriel got out of jam in the top of the seventh inning, and Upper Sandusky held off Buckeye Central, 7-6, in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball game Tuesday.

Upper Sandusky won all of its matches in straight sets, defeating Galion, 5-0, on Tuesday. “This was the best we have played as a group so far,” Upper Sandusky coach Aaron Frazee said.

SYCAMORE — Mohawk scored three times in the fourth inning and it was enough for a 3-2 victory against Colonel Crawford in Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball action Tuesday.

SYCAMORE — Sydney Studer took a no-hitter into the seventh inning to lead Colonel Crawford to a 2-0 victory against Mohawk in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference softball game Tuesday.

RAWSON — Riverdale started slowly offensively but exploded for eight runs in the sixth inning to take a 12-1 victory against Cory-Rawson in Blanchard Valley Conference softball action Tuesday.

RAWSON — Riverdale baseball won its sixth straight game by rallying in the seventh inning and then winning in the eighth, 21-16, against Cory-Rawson on Tuesday.

CAREY — Dani Berardinelli-Clark hit a home run and drove in four runs as Carey defeated Arcadia, 13-3, in a non-conference softball game Tuesday.

CAREY — Carey regained its form early in a 14-0 win over Arcadia in a non-league baseball game Tuesday.
