FINDLAY — Carey’s boys and girls both finished sixth Saturday in the Liberty-Benton Invitational. The host Eagles nearly had twice as many points as runner-up Van Buren, 167-86, in the girls competition.

CARDINGTON — Riverdale softball scored 18 runs on nine hits in an 18-0 shutout against Crestline on Saturday in a tri at Cardington-Lincoln. The Falcons’ game against Cardington-Lincoln was rained out.

BUCYRUS — Collin Fredritz threw a two-hitter with seven strikeouts, and Upper Sandusky’s junior varsity baseball team shut out Wynford, 20-0, on Friday.

A youth tennis camp for boys and girls entering grades 4-8 will be held from 8:30-10:30 a.m. June 20-23 at Upper Sandusky High School. Forms are available outside the high school office and at each elementary school office.

Upper Sandusky High School is searching for a person to line the athletic fields at the high school and middle school for the 2016-17 school year. This is a paid position.

Upper Sandusky Lady Rams soccer camp is June 13-16 at the high school soccer fields. Sessions are from 9-10:30 a.m. for grades 1-4 and 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. for grades 5-8.

Nominations for the Upper Sandusky High School Athletic Hall of Fame are being accepted in the USHS athletic office. All former USHS athletes must be out of high school 10 years to be eligible.

The Upper Sandusky Kiwanis Subway 5K Fun Run is 10 a.m. Saturday. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. at the starting location of Stepping Stones Park.

NORTH ROBINSON — Upper Sandusky’s girls edged host Colonel Crawford for the championship, 144-136, at the Bob Royer Relays on Friday. Mohawk’s girls finished fifth with 44 points.

Northern 10 Athletic Conference leader Wynford led area baseball teams with a No. 2 seed in district draws and earned a bye into the sectional finals in the Shelby district. The Royals (12-5) play in one of the 5 p.m. May 11 sectional finals, awaiting the 3 p.m. Saturday winner between No. 7 Ridgemont (5-17) and No. 8 Plymouth (4-12).
