Girls basketball alumni to play

The first Lady Rams alumni basketball game will played at 2 p.m. Sunday at Upper Sandusky High School. There are currently 50 alumnae on the rosters, along with former coaches Andra Bell and Tom Bell. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students. Fogle’s 8 3-pointers lead Rams to big win

Abigail Fogle and Upper Sandusky made Buckeye Central pay for playing zone defense. Fogle went 8 of 10 on 3-pointers and scored 28 points to lead the Rams to a 64-45 victory against the Bucks on Tuesday night, putting Upper Sandusky in control of the Northern 10 Athletic Conference with a two-game lead with five games remaining.

KENTON — The Riverdale basketball team got caught in a trap Tuesday night. Kenton used its pressure defense to force the Falcons into 29 turnovers, converting many of those miscues into easy points in rolling to a 63-37 boys basketball victory in a battle of area rivals.

SYCAMORE — Chelsey Trusty scored 14 points, including the winning basket with nine seconds left, to lead Mohawk to a 30-28 come-from-behind victory against Bucyrus in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference girls basketball game Tuesday night.
