COLUMBUS (AP) — It’s good times for the for the basketball programs at Upper Sandusky as the boys and girls teams are a combined 29-0 and highly ranked in the latest Associated Press polls.

Abigail Fogle and Upper Sandusky made Buckeye Central pay for playing zone defense. Fogle went 8 of 10 on 3-pointers and scored 28 points to lead the Rams to a 64-45 victory against the Bucks on Tuesday night, putting Upper Sandusky in control of the Northern 10 Athletic Conference with a two-game lead with five games remaining.

KENTON — The Riverdale basketball team got caught in a trap Tuesday night. Kenton used its pressure defense to force the Falcons into 29 turnovers, converting many of those miscues into easy points in rolling to a 63-37 boys basketball victory in a battle of area rivals.

BUCYRUS — Carey made easy work of a mid-week game against short-handed Wynford on Tuesday. The Blue Devils used a 26-3 run to take control early and cruised to a 42-16 win. Gretchen Harris, Rylee Alspach and Grace Schiefer did not play for Wynford.
