WMH therapist to tape at Arnold Sports Festival

Wyandot Memorial Hospital physical therapist John Elchert will be providing Kinesio taping for athletes at the Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus. Elchert is a certified Kinesio taping practitioner and was invited by Kinesio Taping Association International to be at their display Friday in the Arnold Fitness EXPO.

Hough, Stauffer honored

Riverdale seniors Noah Hough and Levi Stauffer earned honorable mention on the All-Blanchard Valley Conference boys basketball team released Tuesday. A senior forward, Hough is averaging 11.9 points, 7.8 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game.

Wyandot Co. tops Ashland

The Wyandot County Indians topped the Ashland County Dragons, 42-35, in the Area 5 Special Olympics basketball tournament Saturday at the Seneca County School of Opportunity.

Upper selling sectional tix

Upper Sandusky will play in the Division II sectional boys basketball tournament at 6:15 p.m. Friday at Lima Senior High School. Pre-sale tickets are available through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the USHS athletic office.

Wynford selling sectional tix

BUCYRUS — Wynford High School will be pre-selling tickets for the Division IV sectional semifinal game against Mansfield Christian at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lexington. Tickets will be on sale until 3 p.m. today and until 11 a.m. Wednesday in the high school office.

Rams finish 2nd, advance 9

CLYDE — Four Upper Sandusky wrestlers won sectional championships, and the Rams took second to Tiffin Columbian in Division II action Saturday at Clyde. The Tornadoes scored 201.5 points, while the Rams edged Clyde, 189.5-189, for second place.
