Laura Mae Pickett, of Marseilles, died at 10:58 a.m. Sunday, May 8, 2016 at her residence. She was 87. Born Jan. 17, 1929 in Marion, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Nancy (Brooks) Dorfe. She married James Pickett Sr. on May 16, 1951, and he died Sept. 1, 1993.
