Dads get lesson in braiding at salon

Local fathers were taught some valuable lessons Sunday at Salon Lofts in Upper Sandusky. Area hair stylists Patti Bardon and Mychell Clements taught local dads how to do their daughters’ hair from 4-6 p.m. at a special Father Daughter Haircapades event at their salons located at 100 S. Warpole St.

Upper native wins MVP honor

TAMPA, Fla. — An Upper Sandusky senior earned a major award last weekend. Rosemary Austin, a resident of Upper Sandusky, earned Most Valuable Player while competing at the World Tournament of Champions for senior softball in Polk County, Florida.
