Upper native hired as chief marketing officers for KFC CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble Co. executive Andrea Zahumensky, an Upper Sandusky native, has been hired as chief marketing officer of U.S. operations for the chicken restaurant chain KFC Corp. Zahumensky, who has worked or P&G for 20 years, has been brand director for North America Baby Care for the Cincinnati-based maker of consumer goods such as Pampers diapers since August of last year. Wynford passes new school initiative BUCYRUS — Wynford Local Schools will be getting a new high school and junior high building after the passage of a 4.95-mill levy with an additional 1 mill for permanent improvement attached to that. Rathburn wins in bid to remain as Carey mayor CAREY — Jennifer Rathburn, one of three candidates looking to serve the remaining two years of an unexpired term, was elected on Tuesday to continue serving as mayor of the village of Carey. Rathburn received 52.07 percent of the vote, Robert T. Maison received 34.71 percent of the vote and John Green received 13.22 percent of the vote. Read More
