Brooke Maze and Joshua Woodford, both of Upper Sandusky, are the parents of a girl, Josialeigh Rayn Woodford. She was born at 3:36 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.

FOREST — Cut the Craft at the Forest-Jackson Public Library will be offered at 1 and 7 p.m. Aug. 25. Adults and teens are invited to stop by the library to paint pine cone dahlias.

FOREST — The Forest-Jackson Public Library is hosting a “book face” contest. To enter, area residents are asked to pick a book, hold it to make it appear to be part of the person’s body, take a picture and send it to forestpubliclibrary@gmail.com.

Jim and Donna Morris of Upper Sandusky are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Aug. 28, 1966 by the Rev. Malcolm George at Trinity United Methodist Church.

The Upper Sandusky Community Library’s free clothing swap will return to the library in September. The twice-yearly event is set up like a garage sale, except it is free to participate, according to a press release from the USCL.
