Nomination forms are being accepted for the second annual adult spelling bee to benefit Hannah’s House, a supervised visitation and exchange home based in Upper Sandusky. The cost to participate in the annual fundraiser is $20 per person.

The Wellness Center at Wyandot Memorial Hospital will offer its Living with Diabetes course to diabetics and their support people from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 17 and 18 in the Bowman and Kirkland conference rooms on the hospital’s lower level.

CRESTLINE — A boating safety and beginner canoeing class is set for 6 p.m. Aug. 10 at Bucyrus Neff Reservoir, located on Ohio 98. The program, sponsored by the Crawford Park District, will begin with a boating safety lesson, followed by a canoe float around the reservoir.
