Bucyrus natives selected as RAs at Heidelberg TIFFIN — A team of 31 upperclass students has been selected to serve as resident assistants for the upcoming academic year at Heidelberg University.

School open house slated

St. Peter School will host its annual open house from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Monday. The open house will begin with a brief welcome and introductions of faculty and staff. After that, parents and guardians may visit classrooms, drop of their children’s school supplies and have hot dogs provided by the school advisory council.

DeMolay planning open house

Upper Sandusky DeMolay will host an informational open house at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Upper Sandusky Masonic Center, 188 W. Johnson St. The meeting is open to the public and will include a brief presentation on the chapter and a time for questions.

Memorial balloon launch to be at Harrison Smith

Parents and families who have had children die are invited to a memorial balloon release from 4-6 p.m. Aug. 14 at Harrison Smith Park. Sponsored by The Compassionate Friends of Wyandot County, the annual balloon release will take place at the small red shelter house behind the pond at the park.
