Clothing swap set in April

The Upper Sandusky Community Library is accepting gently used clothing between March 6 and April 4 for its clothing swap. Clothing of all ages and sizes may be donated. Formal gowns for this year’s area high school proms also will be accepted.

Doughnuts on sale March 24

SYCAMORE — The Mohawk Lioness Club will make spring doughnuts March 24 at the Sycamore Community Center on Ohio 103 at the edge of Sycamore. Doughnuts will be sold beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the center and at TNT’s Pizza in downtown Sycamore. Prices remain $7 per dozen.

Humane Society: February 27, 2018

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on Tuesday and is correct as of that date. Pets reported as missing since the last report that have not been found include a black and white male Chihuahua, a brown Shiba Inu-terrier mix, a fawn and white female Chihuahua, a male yellow cat and a white and tan spayed female Chihuahua.

1,000 books

Annabelle Sidor recently completed the 1,000 Books before Kindergarten program at the Dorcas Carey Public Library. The library offers the 1,000 Books before Kindergarten reading program for newborns up to school age.

Free tax assistance being offered

AARP Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest free, volunteer-run tax preparation and assistance service. Free tax preparation being offered through the joint effort of the Wyandot County Council on Aging and Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church.
