Carey High School FFA wins ODOT contest in Wyandot LIMA — Carey High School was named the winner of Wyandot County and was fourth in the People’s Choice Award in the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1’s annual Paint the Plow contest. Amesquita given 10 years for pandering, gross sexual imposition A Sycamore man was sentenced to 10 years in prison Tuesday after pleading guilty to one count of gross sexual imposition and five counts of pandering sex oriented material to a minor. Jose R. Amesquita II, 37, was registered as a tier 2 sex offender in a preliminary hearing Tuesday. He was arrested Jan. 10, 2019, on a warrant on indictment for gross sexual imposition, a third degree felony, and 17 counts of pandering sex-oriented material to a minor, a fourth degree felony. Rams win first league title in 25 years BUCYRUS — With their sights set on their first conference title in 25 years, the Upper Sandusky baseball team wasted little time at Bucyrus on Tuesday. The Rams scored three runs in the first inning and 10 in the second on the way to a 15-0 run-rule victory over the Bucyrus in five innings. With the victory, the Rams clinched a share of the Northern 10 Athletic Conference title. Read More
