City council honors USHS swimmers Upper Sandusky High School’s swimmers were honored at Monday’s Upper Sandusky City Council meeting. The girls medley relay team of Maya Collins, Kamryn Swartz, Abbey Wenger and Katie Conley advanced to the state competition during the winter sports season. Mohawk scores 8 times in 6th inning to sweep Van Buren SYCAMORE — Mohawk scored eight times in the bottom of the sixth inning to rally past Van Buren 13-8 and take a sweep after winning the opener 5-3 in a baseball double header Saturday at Mohawk. The Warriors (14-3) scored to quickly erase a 1-0 deficit in the first game with three runs in the bottom of the first.
