Edison dominated singles action and took a 4-1 victory against Upper Sandusky in a girls tennis action Wednesday. The Chargers (12-4) gave up just three games in three singles matches.

USHS hosting Senior Citizen Night on Oct. 3

The Upper Sandusky High School athletic department announced Oct. 3 is “Senior Citizen Night” as Upper Sandusky takes on Seneca East in junior varsity and varsity volleyball. All senior citizens will receive free admission to both matches and a coupon for a free drink and popcorn from the concession stand.

Carey unable to hold leads; Mohawk wins in 4

SYCAMORE — Carey had leads of at least four points in every set, but the Blue Devils let their advantage slip away three times and with it their chance of a Northern 10 Athletic Conference championship. The Warriors thrived playing from behind and came away with a 25-23, 17-25, 25-21, 25-23 victory that increases Buckeye Central’s lead in the N10 to two games.
