Colonel Crawford tops Mohawk to capture first district title in 54 years GALION — In their three matchups against the Colonel Crawford baseball team this season, Mohawk scored two runs in 25 innings. Seven of those 25 innings were in Friday’s district final at Galion High School, a complete-game pitching performance by Gavin Feichtner, in which he only allowed one run and three hits in the Eagles’ 8-1 victory over the Warriors. The Blue Devils’ Addystin Lykins earned a state bid in the 200 and 400 dashes, Sarah Reinhart qualified for state in the 3200 run, and the Blue Devils appear to be headed for state as a wild card in the 800 relay.
