Firelands Counseling and Recovery Center Site Director Michelle Clinger has a message for Wyandot County residents: “We’re here to help.” “As of the beginning of October, every position has been filled at Upper Sandusky Firelands,” Clinger said.

The Wyandot County Board of Developmental Disabilities heard public feedback for its 2019 Action Plan on Thursday. Angeline School Superintendent Todd Dilley reported that those in attendance were specifically interested in the plan to comply with federal Medicaid requirements for 2024, specifically asking that the board carefully consider what this will mean to individuals who do not receive Medicaid waiver services.

MARSEILLES — Marseilles Council voted at its meeting Tuesday night to increase the mayor’s salary by $100 per year beginning in January 2020. In old business, flags in the village have been taken down, and council reviewed the October bank statement and reconciliation.

The Upper Sandusky Service Committee accepted a $23.7 million bid for a new water reclamation facility during a special meeting this morning. Bid openings for the new water reclamation facility began Thursday and the city of Upper Sandusky received two bids.
