Humane Society: March 28, 2016

The following report was prepared and submitted by the Wyandot County Humane Society on March 24 and is correct as of that date: Pets reported as missing since the previous report that have not been found include a white and brown spayed female pit bull, a grey female cat with gold eyes, a tan female chihuahua, a black neutered male cat, a gray tiger and white female cat, a small black female cat, a tri color female walker hound, a brown and black neutered male shepherd-mastiff mix and an older male yellow Lab.

Gottfried selected for Miss Teen pageant

Jamie Gottfried of Upper Sandusky recently was selected to participate in the 2016 Miss Teen pageant competition that will take place April 10. Gottfried submitted an application and took part in an interview session that was conducted by this year’s Columbus pageant coordinator.

Austism information event slated at NCOESC April 7

TIFFIN — Pathways through Autism is an event designed for parents and educators to obtain information to help navigate through each stage of life on the road of autism. It is set for 5-7 p.m. April 7 at the North Central Ohio Educational Service Center, 928 W. Market St., Tiffin.

Trinity UMC members to frame Habitat homes

Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church is partnering with Help Build Hope, a ministry of Cross Roads Missions in Louisville, Kentucky, to frame two houses to be used for Habitat for Humanity families. The house framings will take place at 8 a.m. April 2 in the Trinity UMC parking lot, located at 1086 Malabar Drive.
