Health department flu clinics continue Wyandot County Public Health has begun offering seasonal influenza vaccines for the 2016-17 flu season. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends routine annual influenza vaccination for all people 6 months of age and older who do not have contraindications to the vaccine, such as a severe allergy to chicken eggs; severe reaction after a previous dose of flu vaccine; those who developed Guillain-Barre syndrome six weeks after a previous dose of influenza vaccine; infants younger than 6 months of age; and those with a moderate to severe illness.
