TIFFIN — A large, varied selection of decanters and liquid containers was the topic of the Valentine’s Day meeting of the Tiffin Glass Collectors Club. Tiffin Glass authority and book author Ed Goshe explained the differences and eras liquor and wine decanters were made.

WMH foundation to award scholarships

The Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation will award five $1,000 scholarships this spring to Wyandot County residents planning careers in healthcare. Scholarship applications are available at the hospital’s information desk in the lobby and are due March 15. Free tax prep available in Wyandot Co.

AARP Tax-Aide will offer free tax preparation through a joint effort with the Wyandot County Council on Aging and Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church. Volunteers will e-file federal, state and school tax returns at no cost at the church on Malabar Drive each Thursday and Friday from Feb. 2 to April 13.

Community prayer set

Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church will host a community prayer service for people facing issues of substance abuse. The prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at the church,108 Malabar Drive, Upper Sandusky.
