FOREST — Heritage Christian Union Church, 15738 Ohio 37, Forest, will continue its 2017 Winter Concert Series with southern gospel music by The Morse Family from McComb at 7 p.m. Sunday. Snacks will be provided following the concert.

For the sixth consecutive year, Riverdale art students took home top prizes in the Blanchard River Watershed Partnership’s Rain Barrel Decorating Contest. FREMONT — Court Appointed Special Advocates of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties is looking for citizens in the community to advocate for abused, neglected and dependent children. In order to become a CASA volunteer, an application must be completed, as well as a background check and 30 hours of training.

The Wyandot Memorial Hospital Foundation will award five $1,000 scholarships this spring to Wyandot County residents planning careers in healthcare. Scholarship applications are available at the hospital’s information desk in the lobby and are due March 15.

TIFFIN — A large, varied selection of decanters and liquid containers was the topic of the Valentine’s Day meeting of the Tiffin Glass Collectors Club. Tiffin Glass authority and book author Ed Goshe explained the differences and eras liquor and wine decanters were made.

Most people wait years to break a record, but Camille Everly McClellan and Crosby Wells McClellan did it coming into this world on Feb. 9. The newborns were the biggest set of twins born at Wyandot Memorial Hospital in the last 24 years, with Camille tipping the scales at 8 pounds, 3 ounces, and Crosby weighing in at 8 pounds, 2 ounces.
