The Wyandot County Safe Community Coalition is sad to report on the first fatal traffic crash of 2017. The latest accident, which occurred on March 16, adds to a growing list of fatalities resulting from drivers failing to yield at intersections.

General surgeon Dr. Peter Schuler will provide free vein screenings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. May 3 and 17 at VeinCare, near the north entrance at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky. The screenings will include a brief varicose vein risk factor questionnaire and consultation with Schuler, who treats varicose and spider veins with radiofrequency ablation, sclerotherapy injections and VeinGogh.
