Art auction forges new connections

CAREY — Wyandot County residents are invited to dress up Saturday for the fourth annual Art Connections art auction fundraiser. The event this year will be held at the new Moreno’s Vault banquet hall in Carey and is open to everyone who has already RSVP’d.

Residents question high water bills

Two separate cases of high water bills were discussed at the Upper Sandusky Service Committee meeting Monday. Two area residents representing their daughter Michelle St. John said she had a high water bill at her residence on Betty Lou Street.

Carey village employees test new time clock

CAREY — The use of new TimeClock Plus software to track the hours of village employees was a featured topic of discussion Tuesday at the Carey Village Council meeting. The meeting opened with an administrative update where Village Administrator Roy Johnson announced the trial period for the TimeClock Plus software is currently in effect and employees will be signing in via smartphones or computers as well as timecards so accuracy with the system can be gauged.
