We don’t have a drug problem in Wyandot County, Ohio! I am always surprised when I hear this statement, but know that those who are making such a comment are not in law enforcement or social services or work in the courts.

The Upper Sandusky High School athletic department lost a dear friend recently. Jimmie Richman passed away on Aug. 15 at Wyandot Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 83.

Do you remember 9/11 and the enthusiastic patriotism that followed the powerful attack? No matter where a person walked or drove, meaningful displays of our founding fathers’ patriotism were proudly displayed: USA flags were flown everywhere — on houses and businesses.

Two news articles in today’s paper address a new adult entertainment business in Wyandot County. As always, we’ve taken great care to report on this topic and have spent hours researching existing laws and regulations.
