3 injured in Wyandot County crash

A driver and passenger in a head-on auto collision on Ohio 67 were transported via Life Flight to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, and the other driver was taken to Wyandot Memorial Hospital on Thursday night, according to a report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office.

Since the opening of the store, artwork from Art Connections in Carey has been on display for patrons to admire and the artists from the studio used an autograph meet and greet session to remind the public that the art is for sale and to show off jewelry that also was available for purchase.

CAREY — A year after reaching the regional final, the Carey Blue Devils won its first softball title of 2017 with the swing of a bat from a player who got her first taste of a high school championship Thursday. Freshman Hailey Niederkohr ‘s two-out grand slam in the bottom of the sixth gave Carey a 7-6 win over Arcadia.

The Rams managed only one run in a bases-loaded, no-outs situation early in the game, and the Minutemen turned their baserunners into runs in an 8-1 victory in a Division II sectional semifinal game Wednesday at Lexington.
