‘IT Chapter Two’ a big, scary mess

It is with regret that today I must discuss my deep disappointment with “IT Chapter Two.” This is the conclusion to 2017’s “IT,” which depicted the first half of Stephen King’s horror novel about a group of misfit tweens (The Losers Club) who must battle Pennywise, a demonic clown from another dimension.

‘Angel Has Fallen’ a grand finale

I recently enjoyed seeing “Angel Has Fallen,” the third in the series, after “Olympus Has Fallen” and “London Has Fallen,” of action movies starring Gerard Butler as Secret Service Agent Mike Banning. Morgan Freeman, returns from the first two movies as speaker of the house and then vice president. Allan Trumbull, now the president in this movie, replaces Aaron Eckhart.

‘Blinded by the Light’ more than just Springsteen music

Today I’m excited to discuss “Blinded By the Light,” which is currently playing in theaters. This movie is just wonderful! I have been anxiously waiting to see this movie as it features the music of Bruce Springsteen, of whom I am a huge fan. I can happily say it did not disappoint me! This is an independent film, inspired by the true story of a Pakistani teen, Javed, who lives with his family in 1987 Britain and feels trapped by his town and his traditionalist father, but finds inspiration through the music of Bruce Springsteen to break away and fulfill his dream of becoming a writer.

Neon Artist, Michael Flechtner, a Tiffin native now living in Los Angeles, will begin installing the left vertical “Star Banner” of the 60 foot by 60 foot neon sign which originally graced the west side of the drive-in theater’s screen in 1949.
