Hitting camp scheduled Posted on July 8, 2015 0 Coast to Coast Baseball is hosting a baseball tryout and hitting camp for local players ages 14-18 to evaluate a player’s hitting, fielding, arm strength and speed. Since 2001, over 3,500 athletes from 46 different states have participated in the program. Alumni now compete at every level of collegiate baseball and even professionally, according to a release. Players accepted into the program will join college coaches and pro scouts at the $28 million Roger Dean Complex in Jupiter, Florida, for games and instruction. All tryouts are held at 10 a.m. with a hitting camp following the tryouts. The events are at Perry Fieldhouse at Bowling Green State University July 9 and Wright State University July 20.
