NORTH ROBINSON — Izzy Stalter had seven kills as Colonel Crawford downed Upper Sandusky, 25-18, 25-16, 25-18, in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball match Thursday night. Jenna Maddy added six kills and two aces for the Eagles (9-4, 7-2 N10). Danielle Horsley passed out 12 assists.

Seneca East tops Carey

CAREY — Carey had balance on offense but it was not enough in a 25-20, 25-17, 24-26, 25-18 loss to Seneca East in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball match Thursday night. Seylor Kin had seven kills to lead four Carey players with five or more. McKenzie Row and Sadie Arend both had six kills, while Addison Miller finished with five.

Upper Sandusky picked up its third win of the season with a 3-2 victory against Tiffin Columbian in girls tennis action Wednesday. Jodi Smalley evened her No. 1 singles record at 5-5 with a 6-3, 6-2 victory, while Emma Schoenberger won for the fourth time at No. 2 singles by downing Casey Knutson, 6-0, 6-1.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Arlington extended Riverdale’s losing streak to six with a 25-11, 25-13, 25-16 victory Wednesday night in a Blanchard Valley Conference match at Riverdale. The Falcons (3-7, 1-5 BVC) were led on the attack by Tayler Ashburn with five kills and Bry Vanden Bosch with four. Ashburn added two blocks.

GALION — From top to bottom, Upper Sandusky has proven itself as the best boys golf team in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference. Led by three-time N10 player of the year Brett Montgomery, the Rams won the league tournament Tuesday at Valley View Golf Course to clinch the overall team championship.
