KIRBY — Kirby Fest is hosting an off road 5K and a cornhole tournament July 28. The 5K begins at 9 a.m., with registration beginning at 8 a.m.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Everything that Ron Lauck taught his daughters Amber Warren and Kim Rall is still fresh in their minds. Lauck, a Riverdale High School graduate, was a member of the RHS track and field team.

CALEDONIA — Upper Sandusky’s Owen Knapp had a seventh-place finish Tuesday in the Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association tournament at Whetstone Golf Course. Knapp shot a 95, including a 45 on the back nine. Pleasant’s Minoy Shah was the 13-15 division winner with a 79.

KENTON — The Kenton High school boys and girls tennis teams are hosting a tennis tournament July 28-29 at the Kenton High School tennis courts as a fundraiser for new equipment like a ball machine. Matches begin at 9 a.m. both days with a guarantee to play at least two matches in the event.

BUCYRUS — The Bucyrus Softball Association will host a men’s and co-ed softball tournament in conjunction with the 51st annual Bratwurst Festival from Aug. 17-19. The three-day tournament will be played within the guidelines of the 2018 NSA rulebook unless otherwise noted.
