WILLARD — Wynford lost to both Huron and Willard in a non-conference girls golf tri-match Wednesday at Willard Golf Club. Huron won, 192-216, over Willard, with the Royals (5-2) recording a 232 while recording their first losses of the year.

TIFFIN — Led by Alivia Lucius’ 49, Seneca East defeated Upper Sandusky, 212-249, in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference girls golf match Wednesday at Clinton Heights Golf Course. Katie Clark shot a 59 to lead the Rams (1-3, 1-3 N10). Kendra Conley finished with a 61, Katie Conley shot a 63, and Grace Sayre scored a 66.

The Riverdale mini, midget and varsity cheerleading teams all took first place recently at the Huron County Fair.

BUCYRUS — Logen Sand shot a 42 to lead Wynford to a 179-201 victory against rival Bucyrus to open Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys golf play Tuesday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus. Kyle Koons and Kayleb Keaton both had 46s, and Aden Caldwell finished with a 51 for the Royals (1-0, 1-0 N10).

GALION — Ethan Tanner medaled with a 46 to lead Carey to a 194-225 victory against Colonel Crawford to open the Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys golf season. Dylan Grothaus shot a 48, and McKain Miller and Carter Frederick both had 50s for the Blue Devils (2-0, 1-0 N10).

GALION — The Upper Sandusky girls golf program picked up its first-ever victory and avenged a loss last week against Colonel Crawford with a 245-266 victory Monday at Valley View Golf Course. Katie Clark earned medalist honors with a 59 for the Rams (1-2, 1-2 Northern 10 Athletic Conference).

BUCYRUS — The Wynford girls golf team improved to 5-0 with a 207-232 victory against Elgin on Tuesday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus. Caity Schiefer medaled with a 49, with Emily Rudd (51) and Abby Underwood (52) right behind. Gabby Johnson rounded out scoring with a 55.

TIFFIN — Tyler Rose was medalist with a 42 as Buckeye Central downed Mohawk, 175-199, in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys golf dual Tuesday at Seneca Hills Golf Course. Logan Drum led the Warriors (0-1, 0-1 N10) with a 44.

TIFFIN — Fremont Ross edged Mohawk, 230-236, in a nonconference girls golf match Tuesday at Seneca Hills Golf Course. Shelby Level paced the Little Giants with a 45. Alana Smith shot a 55, Mekhia Williams had a 62, and Jasannah Sabiers tallied a 68.

BUCYRUS — Wynford finished fourth and Mohawk eighth Monday in the Bucyrus Elks Invitational golf tournament at The Golf Club of Bucyrus. Galion blew away the field with a 310. Seneca East (341) and Ashland (367) both came in ahead of the Royals (374). The Warriors finished with a 410.
