ARLINGTON — The Riverdale golf team evened its record by winning a tri-match Thursday at Sycamore Springs Golf Course. The Falcons shot a 197 to finish ahead of both Pandora-Gilboa (222) and Ada (226).

KENTON — Upper Sandusky picked up its first individual victory of the season but fell short against Kenton, 4-1, in a girls tennis match Wednesday at Kenton. Emma Schoenberger and Mara Smalley downed Abby Hartshorn and Elizabeth Heintz, 7-5, 6-2, at No. 1 doubles for the Rams’ only victory.

Because a few players have been diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth disease, the Upper Sandusky High School Football Jamboree scrimmage against Fostoria scheduled for Friday has been cancelled to prevent further infection to other USHS or Fostoria High School student athletes.

GALION — Andrew Kuenzli shot a 1-under-par 35 to earn medalist honors and lead Riverdale to a 187-215 victory against Crestline in a non-conference boys golf match Wednesday at Valley View Golf Course. A state qualifier a year ago as a freshman, Kuenzli finished with three birdies and five pars on the day.
