The Falcons used their height to convert on three headers for goals and used their speed to create opportunities while overwhelming Upper Sandusky, 10-1, in a boys soccer match Tuesday night.

BUCYRUS — Kyle Koons medaled with a 43 to lead Wynford to a 184-203 victory against Mohawk in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys golf match Tuesday at The Golf Course of Bucyrus. Koons birdied No. 7 to pace the Royals (3-3, 3-2 N10).

Chester, Ward help Warriors sweep

SYCAMORE — Madi Chester and Kaylee Ward combined for 28 kills as Mohawk easily handed Colonel Crawford its first loss, 25-14, 25-11, 25-17, on Tuesday night. Chester smashed 16 kills and added three aces and 19 digs, while Ward had 12 kills, eight digs and three aces for the Warriors (4-1, 1-1 N10).

ARLINGTON — Seth Lasiter and Noah Brand both shot 39s as Liberty-Benton topped Riverdale and Arlington in a Blanchard Valley Conference tri-match Tuesday at Sycamore Springs Golf Course. The Eagles had a 165-187 advantage over the Red Devils, who finished 20 strokes better than the Falcons (207).

Royals erase deficit but drop match

BUCYRUS — Wynford erased a two-set deficit but Ridgedale prevailed in the fifth set to notch a 25-22, 25-19, 18-25, 22-25, 15-9 victory in Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball play Tuesday night. Macey Zinser led the Royals (2-4, 1-2 N10) with 12 kills and four blocks.

Little Giants top Warriors in girls golf

FREMONT — Fremont Ross topped Mohawk in a nonconference girls golf match for the second time this season, winning 229-251 on Tuesday at Fremont Country Club. The Little Giants defeated the Warriors 230-236 two weeks ago at Seneca Hills Golf Course.

Chester 18 digs as Mohawk defeats Galion

SYCAMORE — The Mohawk volleyball team picked up a quality nonconference victory by beating Galion, 25-19, 20-25, 25-20, 25-12, on Monday night. Madi Chester led the way for the Warriors (3-1) with 18 kills, 14 digs and five blocks. Kaylee Ward had 12 kills, 12 digs and three aces.
