CAREY — Carey answered Colonel Crawford’s runs in the first inning but the Eagles kept coming on their way to a 14-2 victory in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball game Wednesday at Carey. After both teams scored twice in the first inning, the Eagles (3-3, 2-2 N10) scored eight times in the second inning, once each in the third and fourth innings and twice in the fifth inning.

NEW WASHINGTON — Mohawk used an eight-run seventh inning to run away with a 16-2 victory against Buckeye Central in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference baseball game Wednesday at Buckeye Central. The Warriors (3-0, 2-0 N10) led 3-2 after one inning, 5-2 after three innings, 7-2 after four innings and had an 8-2 lead going into the seventh.

NEW WASHINGTON — Mohawk scored in every inning of a 15-2 five-inning rout of Buckeye Central in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference softball game Wednesday at Buckeye Central. With the game tied at 1, the Warriors (4-0, 2-0 N10) scored five times in the second inning and then three more times in the third to take a commanding 9-1 lead.

Sure, the Upper Sandusky baseball team scored 14 runs and Brenyn Marquart pitched a complete game in five innings. But those weren’t the only reasons the Rams’ 14-0 victory over Colonel Crawford on Tuesday at Upper Sandusky won’t soon be forgotten.

Despite a late rally by the Colonel Crawford softball team, the Upper Sandusky softball team held on for an 8-6 victory over the Eagles on Tuesday at Upper Sandusky High School. The Rams (4-3, 2-0 Northern 10 Athletic Conference) fell behind 2-0 after the first inning, but scored three runs in the second inning, four in the third and added another in the fourth.
