Crall’s 21 points lead Royals to win

BUCYRUS — Northern 10 Athletic Conference leading scorer Josh Crall finished with 21 points to help Wynford get back to .500 with its third straight win, 61-49, at Bucyrus on Saturday night. Caleb Rausch had 15 points, Cole Heinlen scored 11 points, and Kevan Hughett had 7 points and 13 rebounds for the Royals (6-6, 4-5 N10).

Mohawk overcomes poor shooting night

NEW WASHINGTON — Mohawk overcame a cold-shooting performance to take a 34-30 victory against Buckeye Central on Saturday night in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys basketball game. The Warriors (8-4, 7-2 N10) missed all nine of their 3-point tries and went just 8 of 21 (38.1 percent) at the foul line.

3-on-3 tourney set in Kenton

KENTON — The Hardin County Family YMCA has announced plans for holding the “February Frenzy” adult 3-on-3 basketball double elimination tournament on Feb. 16-17 at the YMCA in Kenton. The tournament will have men’s and women’s divisions and is for all adults 18 and older.

NORTH BALTIMORE — The Riverdale girls basketball team won its second consecutive game and fourth in its last five with a 71-61 victory over North Baltimore in a Blanchard Valley Conference game on Thursday. The Falcons (8-6 4-2 BVC) connected on 16 of 44 shots from the field, 6 of 18 from 3-point range and 21 of 29 free throws.

Upper junior high teams win 3 of 4

NEW WASHINGTON — Upper Sandusky’s seventh grade boys basketball team used balanced scoring to take a 39-28 victory against Buckeye Central on Thursday. Jackson Smalley led the Rams (8-1) with 10 points, while Sam Smith had 6 points, and Levi Lamb and Keegan Iles had 5 points each.
