The Upper Sandusky High School girls basketball team will play the winner of Norwalk and Clear Fork in the sectional final of the girls basketball tournament at 8 p.m. Feb. 25 at Monroeville High School. Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students.

Upper Sandusky Middle School, 390 W. Walker St., will host the Cory Washburn Memorial wrestling tournament at 10 a.m. March 19. Proceeds will go to the eighth grade class trip to Washington, D.C.

The Ram Boosters are selling raffle tickets for three photos in one frame, autographed by three Ohio State University legends in different sports: football player Archie Griffin, basketball player Jerry Lucas and golfer Jack Nicklaus.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Trailing Riverdale by eight points early in the fourth quarter, Kenton point guard Ashley Morris knew she needed to do something to pick up the Lady Wildcats’ spirits if they were going to get their 15th win of the season.

SYCAMORE — At least for now, Mohawk still is the class of Northern 10 Athletic Conference wrestling — barely and perhaps for not much longer. Under the spotlight on senior night, Mohawk’s Cole Draper pulled through against fellow state qualifier Noah Clary for a 7-6 ultimate tiebreaker victory to give the two-time reigning N10 champion Warriors a 30-29 victory against Upper Sandusky in a dual match Tuesday night.

BUCYRUS — No. 2 Upper Sandusky trailed by a point after one quarter at Bucyrus. Then it rolled to an 83-45 victory.

ATTICA — Zach Hayman scored 16 points, and Mohawk defeated Seneca East, 59-53, in overtime in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference boys basketball game Tuesday night. Keith Jenkins added 10 points, and Billy Dunlap and Brandon Flood had eight points each in a balanced scoring attack that had seven players score five or more points.

CAREY — Garrett Summit hit four 3-pointers and scored 18 points to lead Carey to a 64-59 victory against Buckeye Central on Tuesday night. Though he has been selective in when he shoots, Summit leads the Northern 10 Athletic Conference in 3-point percentage (9 of 16).

BUCYRUS — Wynford boys basketball pulled away late in a 62-49 non-league victory over Crestline on Tuesday. Seniors Zach Hoffman, Jack Reed and Jordan Creel combined for 52 points.
