KENTON — Riverdale was first and Ridgemont was second in a golf tri-match that included Calvary Christian at Memorial Park Golf Course in Kenton on Thursday afternoon. The Falcons shot a 191, while Ridgemont was next with a 203 and Calvary Christian came in with a 217.

BUCYRUS — Carey swept Bucyrus, 25-21, 25-14, 25-20 victory in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball match Thursday night. Sydney Kin pounded 17 kills on 36-of-39 hitting and added 10 digs and six blocks.

FINDLAY — Riverdale has felt heartbreak against Liberty-Benton repeatedly over the past few seasons. On Wednesday, the Falcons found jubilation with a come-from-behind 2-1 road victory.

MANSFIELD — Upper Sandusky picked up a competitive victory, 3-2, against Madison in a girls tennis match Wednesday.

TIFFIN — Carey wrapped up an undefeated dual season both in the Northern 10 Athletic Conference and overall with a 162-168 victory against Seneca East on Wednesday at Clinton Heights Golf Course. Marcus Miller shot a 1-over-par 36 to earn medalist honors, and Trey Bame shot a 37 for the Blue Devils (14-0, 8-0 N10).

BUCYRUS — Wynford capped off its Northern 10 Athletic Conference dual season with a 188-211 victory against Bucyrus on Tuesday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus.

ARLINGTON — Brady Hipsher shot a 38 to lead Upper Scioto Valley to a 182-211 victory against Riverdale in a non-conference boys golf match Wednesday at Sycamore Springs Golf Course. Andrew Kuenzli paced the Falcons (5-11) with a 42.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Arcadia defeated Riverdale, 25-12, 25-14, 25-10, in a Blanchard Valley Conference volleyball match Wednesday. Jessica Johnston paced the Falcons (0-8, 0-4 BVC) with five kills, while Tayler Ashburn had three kills and a pair of aces.

Although Upper Sandusky did not come away a winner Tuesday night, the Rams proved how good they can be. They matched Mohawk point for point, but the Warriors were able — and perhaps fortunate — to come away 25-22, 25-23, 17-25, 29-27 winners in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference match.
