Mohawk wins 7th straight match

SYCAMORE — The Mohawk volleyball team won its seventh straight match with a 25-17, 25-14, 25-12 victory over Fremont St. Joseph on Tuesday. Destini Oler led the Warriors (10-2) on offense with nine kills and three aces, while Madi Chester served five aces and had eight kills.

Eagles win to tie Rams for 4th place

Upper Sandusky reached the midway point in Northern 10 Athletic Conference play with a 25-16, 25-12, 25-11 loss to Colonel Crawford on Tuesday that puts the Eagles and Rams in a tie for fourth place. Tori Damron led the Rams (4-9, 4-4 N10) with four kills on 11-of-12 hitting, while Kenedi Hayden had three kills.

No. 2 Ottawa Hills wins big

OTTAWA HILLS — Kevin Hileman scored three goals and assisted on another as the state’s No. 2 team in Division III rolled to a 10-0 victory against Riverdale on Tuesday. Drew Hoffman scored twice, and Dylan Schreder, Donovan Bridges, Sam Assi, Austin Charles and John Kight had one goal apiece for Ottawa Hills.

Evak leads Bucks past Royals

NEW WASHINGTON — Lexi Evak finished with 13 kills to lead Buckeye Central past Wynford, 25-13, 25-12, 25-14, on Tuesday night. Emily Stump added 11 kills, and Jenna Karl contributed seven kills, three aces and 10 digs.

Bluffton shuts out Upper, 3-0

BLUFFTON — Bluffton scored a goal with two minutes left in the first half and then two in the second half to take a 3-0 victory against Upper Sandusky in a non-conference girls soccer match Tuesday night. Brinkley Garmatter scored on an assist from Kayla White with 2:05 left in the first half, and the score remained 1-0 until Kayla White’s unassisted goal with 23:14 left in the match.

New Riegel sweeps Upper

NEW RIEGEL — New Riegel dominated the middle set of a 25-20, 25-3, 25-17 victory against Upper Sandusky in a non-conference volleyball match Monday. Lillie Orians paced the Rams (4-8) on offense with six kills on 19-of-21 hitting.
